Our end of the year meeting was arranged by

member Barbara McCarty with the wonderful

staff of Gold Dredge No. 8

It was a entertaining way to end our year of

Society meeting and enjoy the beautiful May weather.

A heartfelt thanks to Barbara and the staff

The group gathered for a photo after the meeting

and before our tour of the dredge and the site.

Two of the men had worked on the dredge

during their mining careers.

Some of the exhibits and areas that we visited.
The logistics as well as size of the equipment and tools that were used is astounding.
Especially when you think of the time and era this was accomplised.
