Tuesday Feb 24, 2026 meeting!

Tuesday, Feb 24, 2026 is our February meeting and program. At 6pm, we will start our meeting and discuss genealogy, family history, and what we’ve been working on, and at 7pm, the slide show will start.

Amy Stratman will present a slide show on the life of Thomas and Mae O’Donnell, using unidentified photos that were left in a Fairbanks attic.

“The Alaska Adventures of Thomas and Mae O’Donnell” will show photos and items left behind after Thomas’ death and tell the story of 2 people who briefly lived and worked in Fairbanks, Alaska in the 1940’s.

We will talk about the contents that were found in a house in Fairbanks and touch on the importance of saving “unknown” photos that may benefit future family and researchers.

We will meet in the Alaska Mining Hall of Fame Museum at 406 Cushman St, Fairbanks. The meeting and program are free to enjoy.
