We need Car Photos for our Sept Meeting, “Our Old Cars”.

Our September meeting will be Sept 22 at the Alaska Mining Hall of Fame Museum 406 Cushman St, Fairbanks, 6pm-8pm. Or join us live via Zoom (non-members, please email us for the link).

In honor of the opening of the Fountainhead Auto Museum at their new location, we will talk about “Our Old Cars” and feature a collection of photos along with commentary by all of us.

We will host a slide show of old cars featured in our photo albums from our parents, grandparents, and other relatives. Be ready to speak about your photos if you wish, or have someone speak on your behalf. Cars tell the story of the family, the neighborhood, and the era.

Let us know who the car belonged to, the year of the car and photo, and any other detail of the photo you would like to share. If you do not know the model of the car, we will look it up. Anyone can participate!

We will also place a few of our photos in the Taproot newsletter. Please email your photos that you would like featured to fbksgensociety@gmail.com. The deadline is Sept 12 for the Taproot, and Sept 21 for the slide show.
