September 26th Program Announced
Happy Autumn! Welcome September and colorful leaves and crisp air. It is time for the September meeting and program. Our September 26 program will be “Basic Genealogy: Let’s get back to the basics”.
This program will guide you to learn or relearn the basics of genealogy and how to fill in the blanks on your family tree. This program will be perfect for beginners and a good refresher for those with experience. Amy Stratman will present the program with welcomed audience participation.
If you were presented with very little information on a person, would you be able to fill in a family tree? Can you research a random name found on the back of a photo? Let’s see what we can find. Bring your questions about an unknown person in your tree if you would like.
We will meet at the Alaska Mining Hall of Fame, Tuesday Sept 26, at 6pm. The address is 406 Cushman St next to McCafferty’s Coffee Shop. Park on the street, across the street, or in the Sadler’s parking lot.
We begin with our Society meeting, break for refreshments, then start the program. We always have a great time and welcome newcomers. This program is FREE to attend.
